I led the product team in launching Upcoming Trip Widgets for the Southwest iOS app, bringing trip information directly to customers’ home screens.
The Feature
Customers can now:
- See upcoming trips at a glance on their home screen
- Check flight status without opening the app
- Stay informed with quick access to key travel details
Why It Matters
Widgets reduce friction. Instead of opening an app and navigating to your trip, the information is right there whenever you look at your phone.
