Improving the Boarding Experience
Our team developed an enhanced boarding experience for Southwest Airlines customers. We enabled users to access Upgraded Boarding on eligible flights directly through the Southwest app and website, eliminating the need to visit the gate counter.
The implementation utilized a hybrid mobile framework approach, leveraging the mobile web experience framed in with native offers on the iOS Swift and Android Kotlin codebases. The feature was integrated into both the Upcoming Trip and Check In workflows across desktop web, mobile web, and native app platforms.
This initiative was a great success, streamlining the boarding process for customers across all digital touchpoints.
